Ready or not......here i quit!
You will never believe what I did yesterday..... I let my boss know that I've decided to be a stay at home mom after Christmas. WHAT HAVE I DONE!
No but really, you know how there are just somethings that you feel prompted to do even though you don't know how things will work out and you don't feel it is the right time? Yeah that's what Brett and I are going through right now about having me stay home that's why I'm giving myself till the end of the year so I can prepare for it. I love my job and I never thought in a million yrs the time would come.
I only work 20 hrs a week so it's not like a make a lot but I do help pay bills. When we told Ethan what we have decided I thought he was gong to cry he was so happy so that makes me feel good.
I could use all the support and advice I can get so if anyone has any advice PLEASE feel free to give it to me.

Same old BoRiNg music!
Sorry about the same old music, it will be changed as soon as I get help from Sister Tina, the one who always has to help me with things like this. I forgot how to do it.
Doctors, Doctors & more Doctors!!!!
Im sorry you all but I just need to vent. So I know Dr.s are good and all when you need them -sometimes- but I do get sick of seeing them on a regular basis. I had a check up today, that's all that was planned for Dr.s until around 4:00 pm I started getting Ethan ready for soccer and he said his head hurt. He has never complained of a head ache before so I told him maybe he should have some Tylenol before his game. He didn't want any so I didn't force it on him UNTIL he walked over to me and I could feel heat radiating off his body! Sure enough 103 for his temp. In about 5 min it went to 104.!
Called the Dr. They said strep is going around and he needed to be seen. OK, I take him in, no strep, just a virus that needs to run it's course but if he gets worse by tomorrow the Dr. wants to do blood work. Tylenol & Motrin every 4 hrs.
Well 3hrs after seeing the Dr. ( now the clinic is closed) still has a fever of 101.5 OK not too bad but 4 hrs after the Dr., right when he can have another dose temp of 104.8!!!!!!! OK something going on here! and he looks like death. Called a couple of friends who are nurses and both said to get him in right away. After hours is so much fun! More tests. Poor Kid! Everything came back neg. Now I'm not sure if that is good or not. Tell me what the heck is wrong with my little one and fix it. Not that easy but this other Dr. did put him on antibiotics just in case. I was happy with that.
3 Dr. visits all in one day. We are very exciting people who like to flush money down the toilet!!

By the way, the only reason he will take his med is so he can get better to play soccer. Sports on the brain 24/7 with that kid!

1st soccer game
He liked playing Keeper. The gloves were "Awsome"! The Tiggers is what they chose as their team name.Ethan had his 1st soccer game today! He says that his team won but who can keep track of all the little ones running around our there and where the ball goes. All I know is that they are the stink'in cute!
You would think after 60min. of soccer a little boy
would be tired, Yeah right! As soon as we got home what do you think Ethan wanted to do? Sit and watch T.V, read a book or maybe just chill with a cold glass of water? Um no not Ethan, he changed out of his soccer gear and right into his FOOTBALL gear!! He has Denver Bronco pads, he chose his own NFL team. Brett is a Bills fan and I just like football really don't care who wins.
It was also his 1st day of pre-school today. He missed the cut off for kindergarten so he is in pre-school again this year. Not sure if thats a good thing or not but what do you do?

ONCE AGAIN
Well as most of you know I have had about a million surgeries for my endo. Ok maybe not a million but I did have number 12 this last Tuesday. Hopefully this will work for us so we can have another baby but if not that's ok too cuz we are waiting for a special one to join our family rather it be through me or someone else. It doesn't matter to us. We will keep you posted on the adoption.
Father & son
My little boy wanted to sleep out on the tramp the other night so my husband gathered up all their things they need for a camp out. Around 10:00 I looked out and and saw Ethan sleeping peacefully while Brett tried to get comfortable.
Remember the good old days when you sleep anywhere and not hurt in the morning. Yeah well those days are over. Ethan thought it was so cool to sleep on the tramp. He woke up around 3 am and said "dad this is so much fun". He is getting to the age to where he will remember all the fun things. We want to make life fun for him and when we get our new little one there will be so much more fun to have.

How is everyone? I haven't been around lately. Been very busy with life and all that good stuff.
Ethan is finally playing soccer on a real team. He thinks he's pretty cool. We took him and a friend to a BEES game over the weekend. We all had a blast.
